Collect for the Sixteenth Sunday after Trinity.

O Lord, we beseech you mercifully to hear the prayers of your people who call upon you; and grant that they may both perceive and know what things they ought to do, and also may have grace and power faithfully to fulfil them; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

Home Group meets next on Thursday 20th September, 8pm. Please speak to Janice Panton for more details.


Youth Group meets next on Friday 21st September, 7-9pm, All Saints Vicarage (All Saints Close, N9 9AT). All young people of Secondary School age are welcome.


Beating the Bounds: we will be walking around the parish boundary and praying for the people of the parish on Saturday 22nd September, leaving at 9.30am. The walk is around 8 miles.


Open House Weekend: for the first time in many years, All Saints is part of the national ‘Open House Weekend’. The church will be open from 10am to 5pm on September 22nd and 23rd. If you would like to ‘church sit’ and welcome visitors, please put your name down on one of the sheets in the Library Corner.


Fundraising Parish Barbecue: Sunday 23rd September, 12.30-4pm. Adults £12, over 70s £8, 16 and under £4. Tickets available from today.


Fellowship of Sts Simeon and Anna at John Adams Court: there will a service of hymns and prayers at John Adams Court at 3pm on Wednesday 26th September.


‘Messy Church’ for pre-school children and their families: on Sunday 30th September there will be an opportunity for families with pre-school children to do enjoy some Harvest themed activites in the Church Hall Lounge during the Parish Eucharist. Please pray for this new initiative which has been inspired by some of our parents.


Harvest Festival Promises Auction for Christian Aid: we will be celebrating Harvest Festival at our All-Age Eucharist on Sunday 7th October – followed by a Promises Auction to raise money for Christian Aid. If you’d like to auction a ‘promise’, please complete one of the forms in the Library Corner, and return them to either Fr Stuart or one of the Churchwardens.

Confirmations: Bishop Rob will be coming to Confirm those who have been prepared on Sunday 16th December. The Confirmation Groups for children begin on Tuesday 9th October. If you’d like to be prepared for Confirmation, please complete one of the forms in the Library Corner and return them to Fr Stuart.
